ooh that's so great! the winners of this project runway competition (which turned out to be kayne & robert) will have their design worn by miss usa as her miss universe competition evening gown. what an honor! what a coup! what exposure!
we have a winner. and what a gorgeous winner. just the right color. just the right shape. regal yet modern. handpicked by miss usa as the dress that will take her over the top.
and now here she is during the evening gown competition modeling the finest project runway designers can offer. um. it's a little more red than the winning dress from project runway...and a little less jeweled...and a little more over one shoulder...and overall, i'm going out on a limb here, a little more totally not the same dress at fucking all! screw you, kayne & robert, tara conner is going to win this bitch without you. what's that, 5th place? oh well. looks like she should have worn your dress after all. and that project runway producers are liars. or maybe she did wear it at the pageant, when she was getting her nails done.
update: okay, according to my readers, she apparently did wear the project runway dress in the evening gown competition. my source for the picture was the miss universe website, specifically the photos in tara conner's profile. which goes to show that to my credit, i didn't watch the miss universe pageant, and to miss universe's webmaster's discredit, their site is not up to date, and to my readers' credit, you all know your shit. but since i went through all the effort of writing this post, i'm sure as hell not deleting it, but i have added a question mark to the post title. isn't that what fox news does to create confusion with an issue that's clear cut one way? i'm so proud.
