oprah is making me dizzy. maybe if i'd tuned in at the very beginning of the show i could have understood the theme. so far it's been nukes in north korea, which my opinion on that is how the hell can these other nuclear powers like the u.s. complain about it. disarm your own nuclear stockpiles then complain about everyone else's. oprah's question to cnn's christiane amanpour was "this isn't a good thing, right?" then it was lisa ling undercover in north korea. at one moment she jogged. what's next, katie couric doing pilates in afghanistan? so the theme at that point seemed to be north korea, until they had the world's first female space tourist, but her name wasn't uhura so i wasn't interested. then a woman skydiver whose parachute failed and she hit the ground face first at 50 mph. how they knew it was 50 is beyond me. couldn't it have been 49? then oprah teases the next segment with "what does it feel like to be stabbed? find out from a woman who was stabbed in the heart. next." um, oprah, it hurts. i really really know it does and i don't need your show to tell me. unless by clicking off the tv and writing this and missing the segment, i'm not learning that it in fact does not hurt to be stabbed in the heart. possibly it feels like being licked by a wallaby. what the hell do i know.
..."licked by a wallaby...."
