i knew i watched joan rivers on qvc for a reason. so she's hawking some reading glasses, those drugstore kind with the magnification factors 1.5, 2.0, etc., and hers are fashiony and also get darker in sunlight. so the host hypes them functioning as sunglasses too and joan pipes in: "this way you can read your pornography indoors or out." the host froze, wanting to see if joan was going to go even coarser and the level of damage control (or test pattern) that would have to take over.
i could barely figure out what joan meant, but i guess it's you'd wear sunglasses to read porn outside due to the shame factor? but who the fuck reads porn outside? and while i'm at it, who reads porn at all? isn't the word gawk, not read?
